OUR HISTORY,
OUR BELONGING,
OUR STORY.
Diversity Hub by Christian Action is a vibrant community space dedicated to celebrating the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our society. Located in the heart of Hong Kong, we provide a platform for individuals to connect, share, and learn from one another.

Supported by the SIE Fund, the Diversity Hub is dedicated to youth development and the home of a Multi-Cultural Museum that honors the contributions of ethnically diverse communities to Hong Kong’s development and high light the city’s inclusive journey towards diversification, celebrating the influences and legacies that have shaped this city’s vibrant metropolis.
Our exhibitions will provide a platform for youth to learn, serve as docents, and enhance their public speaking skills and confidence through guided tours and cultural experiences at Chungking Mansions, religious sites, and beyond.

HEARTFELT GRATITUDE
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Sethi family for their belief in the concept of Diversity Hub by Christian Action. Their motto of welcoming individuals of all faiths has profoundly inspired our mission, vision and values. The Diversity Hub would not have been possible without their generous offer to utilize their flat as our Hub.
In collaboration with Chinese American architect Juan Du—Dean of the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the University of Toronto, Honorary Professor at The University of Hong Kong, and founding director of the Faculty of Architecture’s Urban Ecologies Design Lab (UEDL), —the flat has been transformed through renovation, into a multifunctional space that offers maximum flexibility.
The Diversity Hub at Chungking Mansions is the latest of a series of projects of the multi-year social impact initiative, Housing in Place: Quality Living for Sustainable Hong Kong, which is composed of four inter-related components: HiP Community Space, HiP Demonstration Housing, HiP Home Improvement and HiP On-line Platform.
Housing in Place is a social impact project to research, design, and implement alternative affordable housing solutions and urgent community services. The multi-year social impact project is funded by the Bank of China (Hong Kong) and administrated by Hong Kong Council of Social Services.
